is getting close to being finished...  I know you all are holding your breath.... 

I am in the process

of moving my blog.    I have tried to get help and I have taken a bunch of stuff off and it is still not right... So!  I have found a new place and it will be bigger and better!!!!  So soon I will reveal the new site!!!

Something is wrong with this blog

it will not show up right...  Am I the only one that sees it?    I keep changing things to see what it is but I can't find anything wrong..  But this is not how I want my blog to look... in case you were wondering!

I learned something new today....

Chicken Poop smells absolutely terrible!!!!!!!!!

Now I have shoveled my share of horse stalls and been in my share of cow pastures so I can deal quite well with horse and cow manure. I have even been know to pick it up with my bare hands...(come on...it is just grass and hay!) 

I am a big believer of adding manure and compost to the garden.  The dirt that was put in our garden area is more clay matter than dirt so it needs a lot of help.    So when Terry bought two bags of chicken manure to add to the dirt I was all for it...  and didn't think much of it.

So today, I tore open the bag of chicken poop , dumped it out and began to turn the dirt.  All of a sudden the smell leaped out at me with a mighty force.... a smell so strong and indescribable seeped into each nostril.  As it hit my poor nose I felt myself starting to gag!  Oh my gosh what do they feed these chickens???  I had to cover my face with my arm to continue to turn the dirt!    I had no idea!!

I should have been prepared, I mean they even put a sort of warning on the bag... 

 

yuck!

Then I looked a little closer... it was full of chicken feathers.. gross!!!!

I know, I know chickens loose their feathers all the time and when scooping up the Chicken Poop they couldn't help but scoop up the feathers too...  again yuck!

But you want to know what the worse part of all this is...  Sadie loves the Chicken poop... I can't keep her out of it....  Every time she goes outside she comes back in with a dirt beard... you know,  they don't make mouthwash for dogs... Lucky me.   

After all this, I better have some big,   juicy, tomatoes this year!!!

What do you do

when the CMT awards are going on just down the street?   You walk down there and see what all the hoop la is about.    And that is just what  the kids and I did on our way to eat. 

Now I am not a big country music fan, but I do know who some of them are because they talk about them all the time around here.   But Camille was dying to possibly see Miley Cyrus.   We saw a lot of people but not Miley....

Of course we couldn't  get on the inside where the red carpet was but we got pretty close.

We got to see all the cars drive up and drop off.. 

Rascal Flatts came by to sign autographs...

And we did see Nicole Kidman....  She is just as beautiful in person...

I don't know who this is.. but he seemed nice.   

We saw Taylor Swift,  Tom Arnold,  Josh Turner,  Jewel.... and a lot that I haven't a clue who they were .  I think most of the people got there while we were eating but we got to watch the Limos drive by the windows while we ate.   

Camille was hoping Miley would show up somewhere... 

Then we walked back home and watched it on TV.  Camille thought it was pretty cool that Miley was on TV and she was being filmed just down the street... 

I was home sick today so this wasn't as much fun as it could have been for me..  LOL

And yes it is April 14th.. And yes it was snowing while were were there.. SNOW!  Hey it is spring already turn off the snow!!

I can't believe it!!!!!!

so what did I do????  I know I am crazy....

I frogged it... yup took it completely apart and started all over again...  If I am going to take the time to make it, I want it to be just right.  I don't know why I made and xlarge instead of a large in the first place.

I know I will be glad I did this when it is all over!
